POLISHING ONE ANOTHER'S HEARTS
Over the last few weeks the Lord has been
speaking to me about Joy. Specifically, the type
of Joy that, through the Holy Spirit, follows
grief and conflict, as well as His Joy that
comes in trials and conflict. In our Across
Turtle Island post on Monday January 9, 2006, we
shared this in more detail. Here is a brief
excerpt:
" ... The Word of the Lord says in Proverb
27:17, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man
sharpens another.” (NIV) In the King James
Version, this same verse reads like this: “Iron
sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the
countenance of his friend.” (KJV).
"As Believers and followers of Christ Jesus, we
have the opportunity to sharpen the countenance
of our friends, and likewise they have the
opportunity to sharpen ours. Proverb 27:19
reads, “As water reflects a face, so a man's
heart reflects the man.” (NIV).
"So, we have the opportunity to sharpen the
countenance, or face, of our friends and
companions, associates and neighbors. Our
neighbors and associates, friends and
companions, likewise, have the opportunity to
sharpen our faces. More specifically, we are
used to polish the heart of our companions, and
they, in turn, are used to polish our hearts.
But does this happen by mere chance?
"The Word of the Lord says in Ezekiel 21:11, “The
sword is appointed to be polished, to be grasped
with the hand; it is sharpened and polished,
made ready for the hand of the slayer.” (NIV)
"In other words, we are appointed to be
sharpened and polished. We are appointed to
sharpen and polish others. We are the Lord’s
tools and weapons. As such, it is our destiny to
be crafted into the finest instruments possible.
It is also our destiny to be used to craft our
companions into the finest instruments
possible." ...

ALL NATIONS FELLOWSHIP & CONVOCATION OF EAGLES
2006
It is official. We have started a church
gathering that currently meets in our home. It
is called All Nations Fellowship and it is a
non-profit religious corporation of Montana. We
have filed with the IRS, receiving our TAX ID
no. We are also in the process of acquiring our
letter stating tax exempt status.
We have had some wonderful meetings in the past
few months. We've had guest speakers and quest
worship leaders. We've had very meaningful times
of prayer and ministry. Our youth group made
Christmas stockings full of home baked goodies
for children in the community. We also delivered
food baskets - complete Christmas meals - turkey
and all the trimmings. My children have been
touched and moved in their hearts more through
this fellowship then they have been in a long
time.
Currently, all other ministry activities come
under our church. That includes the First
Nations Monday prayer mobilization, the Across
Turtle Island radio program, our annual
Convocation of Eagles and our traveling/
speaking ministry - Running Brook Ministries
International.
By the way, Convocation of Eagles will be August
4-6, 2006. It will be held in Columbia Falls and
Whitefish, Montana. Day-time events will be held
on our property in Columbia Falls ( as in 2004)
and the evening events will be at Christian Life
Fellowship Church in Whitefish, which hosted our
2nd night in 2004. Speakers/ Worship Leaders
includes: Tom & Wilma Bob; Randy & Cheryl Bear
Barnetson; Marshall & Lauretta Tall Eagle;
Cherokee & Pat Jones; David & Marie Fong (Love
Warriors); and Jeny Running Brook Covill. The
host drum will be the Bob Family. Please mark
your calendars and plan to join us!! There is no
flat registration fee. Offerings will be
received for speakers and COE costs.
DONATIONS:
Financial gifts for the 2006 Convocation of
Eagles expenses can be made payable to our
church, ALL NATIONS FELLOWSHIP.
AFRICA OUTREACH
The Covill's and the Bob's have been invited to
minister in Homa Bay Kenya this June by Pastor
Daniel and Christine Oyoko. Homa Bay is located
in the Lake Victoria are of Kenya. After 8 years
of serving and ministering in Native American
ministry, this will be my first time to make an
international missions trip with a Native
American / Dance and Drama team. This is a dream
come true. That, and I have wanted to go to
Kenya since I was 10 years old!!
We plan to be gone June 20-30, 2006. We will go
to the Homa Bay Community, Kwoyo Village,
Rangenya -Ndhiwa, Gingo -Kanyidoto, Kisii
[Gucha], Kobodo, Kongou -Nyakach, Gem Yala,
Mbita, Mfangano, Nairobi Area, and many more. We
will minister along side the Oyoko's, as we meet
the people of their community and their
fellowship.
In addition, I am so thrilled that Dave, Joshua
(13 yr) and Emma (10yr) want to come with me. We
can minister as a family!! I am so excited. I'm
also glad to finally make a ministry trip with
the whole Bob Family. Wilma and I have traveled
together in the US and abroad. This will be the
first time our families have ministered
together, although I have been involved in
'sending' the Bob's to several places over the
last 8 years!!
We are trusting the Lord to meet all of our
financial needs, as with all of our trips. We
also believe that Yahweh would like us to
present this need to you, as well. As you know,
He delights when we bless one another, in His
name for the accomplishing of His good and
perfect will.
We invite you to join with us in this grand
adventure. It will cost every member of our team
approximately $2000.00 - $3000.00 each. So, just
for my 4-member family, we are looking at
$8000.00 - $12000.00. We ask that you would
prayerfully consider making a financial gift
towards this ministry trip. If everyone on our
mailing list each gives $10.00 to $20.00 we can
see this dream become a reality.
DONATIONS:
Financial gifts for Convocation of Eagles and
the Africa Outreach can be made payable to our
church, ALL NATIONS FELLOWSHIP. Send to: All
Nations Fellowship, PO BOX 2870, Columbia Falls,

MONTANA JESUS VIDEO PROJECT
Reaching the Reservations with the Jesus DVD ...
in a good way.
Many of you have asked for an update regarding
the Montana Jesus Video Project. As I am the
Regional Coordinator for the First Nations
regions and I am also on the Steering Committee,
I will update you in this regard.
NATIVE AMERICAN VERSION: There are 7
reservations in Montana. We hope to have the
Native American language version of the Jesus
Video / Film delivered to the homes on the
reservations, as well as the communities with a
high Native population. This version is spoken
in English, but with Native American voices /
accents. Until recently, the Campus Crusade For
Christ (CCCI) Jesus FILM (International)
department and the CCCI Jesus Video Project
(Domestic / USA) departments have been
completely independent from one another. The
Jesus Film owns the rights to the Native
version, and the Jesus Video is working to
acquire the use of the Native version for our
mailing.
HONOR IN OUTREACH: In addition, it is our desire
to meet with tribal councils and elders before
mailing any DVDs to homes on the reservations.
We want to reach these communities in a good,
respectful and honorable way. We intend to meet
with them, introduce ourselves and the project,
hear their hearts in response, and then ask for
their permission / blessing to mail the DVD to
all the homes on the reservations.
EXTRA COSTS TO JVP: Ultimately we would like to
see the Native American version put on the same
DVD as the standard English adult and children
versions. First, the Jesus Video department
would have to secure the rights. Second, a CCCI
committee would have to approve removing some
other language version from the DVD to make room
for the Native version. It has come to our
attention that the Native version might actually
be longer than the other language versions on
the video. Therefore, this option would not
work. However, we could send an additional
Native version DVD to all reservations and
communities with large Native populations.
Either way, making a Native version available
will cost more money.
NO VIABLE CHURCHES IN NATIVE COMMUNITIES: As
fund-raising is taking place all over the state
of Montana, we are finding that many rural
communities are without a church body who can
pray and give financially in those regions. For
instance, the community of Elmo on the Flathead
Reservation does not have any church body. So it
is more difficult to establish prayer strategies
and raise funds. Elmo has 128 homes/ addresses.
It will cost approximately $384.00 to send a
standard version. (This does not include costs
for Native version). In Native communities like
this one, where there are no churches/
congregations who can 'adopt' their community
for the project, out-side funding is VERY
important.
Please pray for favor with Campus Crusade and
the departments involved in acquiring the Native
version, that we will be able to use in our
mailing. Pray for the financial provision to
send the Native version. Pray for financial
provision to reach the homes in communities
where there is no church body. Pray for favor
with the Tribal councils and elders.
DONATIONS for the Montana JVP can be sent to:
JESUS VIDEO PROJECT, PO BOX 89, Belgrade, MT
59714. PLEASE note "First Nations Region". You
may include a specific tribal community or
reservation, too.
