"Peace Keeper" or "Peace Giver"
The Word of the Lord says in Exodus 18:17-18: "Moses'
father-in-law said to him, "The thing that you are
doing is not good. You will surely wear out, both yourself
and these people who are with you, for the task is too
heavy for you; you cannot do it alone."
The ministries of First Nations Monday have grown so fast
and so far reaching, that after nearly 4 years I am truly
seeing the need for partners in this great and wonderful
work of the Lord.
Verses 22-23 continue by saying " . . . So it will be
easier for you, and they will bear the burden with you. If
you do this thing and God so commands you, then you will
be able to endure, and all these people also will go to
their place in peace."
Wow! Did you see this ... not only will it be easier for
me to do what the Lord has called me to do, but all of YOU
will find your place in this partnership and in so doing,
you will have peace!!! It never occurred to me before that
if I keep trying to do all of this by myself, that I would
be robbing YOU of your peace. We know where 'robbery'
comes from. It is NOT of the Lord.
It is my heart to be a vessel flowing with His Peace ....
not stopping it up like a cork in a bottle. So, in this
month's letter I want to share with you some ways that YOU
can truly partner with this move of the Creator through
this ministry. Look this over, seek the Father's heart and
find your place and your peace.

"A Look At February and March 2004"
Since our last newsletter we have been involved in many
wonderful and blessed gatherings.
The last weekend in February I went with 5 close lady
friends to a cabin in Eureka, Montana. We went away for a
'retreat' - a time of prayer, fellowship, worship and
renewal. It was wonderful. During that time, the Lord
brought me through some VERY intense times of intercessory
prayer like NOTHING I have ever experienced before. I
thank the Lord for His faithfulness to carry me in that
time, as well as for letting me walk through that new
doorway with my close friends. Our Daddy in heaven is so
wonderful.
Then on March 3rd I was blessed to share with a group of
young ladies in a home school class about Cherokee history
and my background. We had so much fun! I am so thankful
for that opportunity.
We have just completed our 5th week with "The Healing
Circle" Bible study. Actually, this is the second
time I have facilitated this study. This has been a very
good and intense time of fellowship. Although it is a
tough study - looking at the Indian Residential Boarding
Schools - it is very rewarding and I highly recommend it.
On the first weekend of March I attended a Ladies' Retreat
hosted by a local church. It was wonderful to visit with
old friends. This was a church I used to attend nearly two
years ago. This congregation, like many others, has been
through several difficult trials. So, our getting together
was very instrumental in healing old wounds and ushering
forth reconciliaiton. After 24 hours of fellowship, we
ended with taking communion ... it was another sweet time
of fellowship like the Lord had at the Last Supper.
Then last Saturday was the 3rd Annual KALS ministry fair.
We had a good time meeting and talking with people at our
local m all. At one point an older woman came by and said
that her and her husband were instrumental in leading Bill
Old Chief to the Lord!! What a blessing to meet her.
Thank you for your prayers as we continue to minister the
heart of our Savior.
