Peru Trip: July 4 -14, 2004
I received a phone call from Sherrill Bragg, World
Outreach Ministries, based in Georgia. They have
been planning an Indigenous Women's Gathering in
Lima, Peru for July 4 -14, 2004. The Native North
American speakers had to cancel, so she asked if I
could come. Following is a brief note I received
from Sherrill yesterday:
The Asheninka Women's Conference will be held in the
central jungle in Obenteni, about 500 miles east of
Lima. I'm getting you all lined up for a TV
interview with the National Prayer Movement leaders
in Lima when we first arrive. Then we'll take a bus
ride over the Andes mountains (8 hrs.) which Rett;
David Gomez; Brian Brightcloud; Charles Robinson;
and Rhoda Anderson took last summer. Then a meeting
in the Evangelical Pentecostal Church in Pichanaki
and a one-half hour plane ride into the tribal area
and population center of Obenteni. The prophecies
are that we're going to see a "combine harvest" and
a fire(Holy Spirit) burning in the jungle.
The political organization of the Asheninkas has
been pleading with us for five years to teach
leadership to the women. I sense the time is now to
bring in Spirit-filled women from several groups to
encourage these precious ones. We would count it an
honor for you and another First Nations woman to
come in to help teach. Rett still needs one or two
First Nations men to accompany him downriver also
for the same time period. Our daughter Mary (25
yrs.old) will be accompanying us as well. Be
prepared to share your testimony, and themes on
self-esteem and identity, prayer, spiritual warfare,
God's blessing and power and love. We're praying and
believing God with you. We love you and appreciate
your work. We already have reservations ready. If
you could arrive on late Sunday night July 4th or
Monday, July 5th we can proceed without problems.
Thank you for considering this wonderful
opportunity. Yes, bring the banner, please! Write
soon! Blessings, Sherrill and Rett Bragg"
This is a tremendous honor and blessing to be asked
to accompany Sherrill and their ministry team to
Peru. With a small 10 day notice, it is obvious that
Yahweh, our Father and Creator, will have to provide
EVERYTHING in a supernatural way ... quickly! I
truly believe that this is something to seriously
consider, as money is already coming in toward the
trip!! PTL.
Join with us in prayer, in one accord and of one
mind and of one spirit, that our Agidoda - Father,
His Son Tsisa - Jesus, and Galvquodiyu Adanvdo -
Holy Spirit, can and will provide for all of our
needs. I have seen my schedule clear-up and these
dates become available, without any work of my own
hands. I have, in the past strived to raise funds
for things to no avail. Yet, in less than 24 hours,
pledges are coming in for this trip. At this point,
I believe that this is the heart of my Creator and
we need to rejoice and join in prayer of
thanksgiving.
Fire, Smoke, Circle and Prayer
Fire, Smoke, Circle and Prayer are just some of the
subjects that we will be addressing as the
'Convocation of Eagles' approaches. Today, I want to
share with you what the Holy Spirit spoke to me
about regarding the fire.
The Holy Spirit said to me, "Will you deny Me at the
fire?". I was rather taken back by that question. It
surprised me. He asked again, "Will you deny Me at
the fire?"
Then I saw in my mind's eye the disciple Peter
standing at the fire and denying Christ. In reading
Luke 22:55-62 it suggests that all three times that
Peter denied Christ he was sitting at the fire. It
was also there at the fire that the rooster crowed
and when Christ looked at Peter acknowledging that
Peter had indeed denied Christ. Peter left the fire
and wept bitterly.
The fire was at the center of the court yard. I
imagine it could very well be like an arbor, dance
arena or circle with a fire in the center. As with
many circles, there is a designated place to enter,
a gate - so to speak. In John 18:12-27, it says that
Peter had to wait outside the gate until the other
disciple spoke to the door keeper. Then the door
keeper allowed him to enter into the courtyard. He
first denied Christ in the doorway to the courtyard.
Then he proceeded to the fire, where he denied
Christ again.
As I read through this, it was as if the Lord was
asking me, "Will you deny Me at the gate?" "What
will you tell the gate-keeper?" "Will you declare My
Name before all men? Even those at the gate? At the
circle? At the fire?"
What comes to my mind, while I am still waiting on
the Lord for the fullness of His question and His
will regarding this matter, is that for more than
500 years people have denied Yeshua at the fire. He
has sent His 'taught ones' into the courtyards of
the pre-Believers. Often the 'taught ones' have
denied Him in the presence of 'traditional people'
in the midst of a 'traditional' ceremony or they
have condemned the fire and those who gather there.
What I am sensing in my Spirit is a prophetic act of
embracing and declaring Christ at the fire. Not in
an obvious and 'showy' manner, but in a simple way
of entering the courtyard and being free to worship
and honor Him.
Again the question, "Will you deny Me at the fire?"
The first time it was a question regarding the
natural/ literal fire. The second time it is a
question regarding the supernatural/ illustration or
symbol of fire. "Will you deny Me at the outpouring
of My Spirit?" READ Acts 2:3-4
Now, look at a third reference of fire. READ Acts:
28:1-9. The snake is often a symbol of satan or
something demonic. In today's Body of Christ, people
would believe that if we, as Believers and followers
of Christ, entered a Native American circle,
approached a fire, and then even dared to put
something on the fire ... wood ... tobacco ...
whatever ... the results would be a demonic attack
or satan himself jumping out attaching himself to
our hands. Bystanders watching and waiting for some
kind of manifestation to validate their suspicious
and judgmental thoughts.
Obviously, Paul was not subject to being overcome by
any demonic spirit by entering the circle of a
foreign people, much less by going to their fire and
even 'participating' by putting wood on it. We don't
know from the Scriptures what the fire meant in any
of the above literal cases, other than it was for
heat. However, in this last instance we do get a
glimpse of how the Lord used it to disprove
superstition and judgment.
All of this to say, I believe the Lord is asking me
"Will you deny Me at the fire?" in both a literal
and figurative context. I also believe He is saying
that He can take the use of a fire and circle and
confront people about their superstitions and
judgments. That we do not need to be afraid of
anything demonic.

Raising The 'Jehovah-Nissi' Banner
As many of you know, we have become part of the 'He
Knows MY Name' family as we raised the Jehovah Nissi
banner in Kalispell, Montana USA on the evening of
May 22, 2004.
The 'Jehovah-Nissi' banner is simply a beautiful
cloth with the sacred name of YHWH (Yahweh) written
in Hebrew. This is the name that means "I AM" or
"Self-Existant One" or "Jehovah". The words "Jehovah
Nissi" mean "The Lord is My Banner".
On May 22, we raised two Jehovah Nissi banners. The
first was the Mt. Carmel banner that was sent to us
from Believers in India. The second was a banner
made especially for Native North Americans. During
this evening many things were revealed to me by the
Holy Spirit. The first, as many of you have heard
already, is that May 22 was the eve of the
anniversary of the Trail of Tears. The Holy Spirit
spoke to me that now the mourning and grieving is
over. It is done. It is finished. It is all covered
under His Name.
The second, is that the generational negative
judgement (curse) against our First Nations people,
through the giving and receiving of the name
'Indian', by European people outside of both
"Indian" cultures, has been broken. The Believers in
India prophetically broke the curse, imparting a
Father's blessing, through the sending of the
banner.
Third, the healing for our Native people is NOW. All
the promises and prophetic words about revival and
deliverance for our Native people is NOW. We have
been waiting for a gospel that is without the
religious laws of man. When the people of India, as
well as the He Knows My Name ministry team,
presented us, the First Nations people of North
America, with the Jehovah Nissi banner, they gave us
a pure and holy presentation of the gospel. They
gave us the sacred name of YHWH. Upon receiving this
gospel, we will see and are seeing our Savior's
promises manifest.
As an additional confirmation for Native Land, a
white buffalo was born on May 22 at Spirit Mountain
Ranch in Flagstaff, Arizona. The mother is named
Mandella Peace Pilgrim. The baby girl is named
Sunrise Spirit. One report said she was born at
12:00 AM Saturday morning. Another says 6:00 AM
Saturday morning. In either case, the white buffalo,
Sunrise Spirit, was born on the eve of the
anniversary of the Trail of Tears and the same day
as the raising of the Jehovah Nissi banner for
Native people in North America. Again, the message
"It is over. It is finished. It is done. No more
tears."
Since that night, May 22, we have taken the Jehovah
Nissi banner to the Kalispell Healing Rooms and to
the recent First Nations Women's Conference in
Billings, Montana. The plan is to now take and raise
the banner in Lima Peru!
