REGISTER TODAY FOR 2005 CONVOCATION OF EAGLES

Osiyo! Well, we are just 6 days away from the start of our Annual Convocation of Eagles. This years gathering is called "Soaring On The Clouds" and it is being held at the Ross Point Bible Camp in Post Falls, Idaho.

If you are planning to attend, we need you to call the Bible camp by WEDNESDAY. The camp requires a certain number of pre-registration commitments to confirm the use of the camp. Please call the camp at 208-773-1655 to confirm your intent to join us. .... IMMEDIATELY ...

There are a couple of options. First, you can register for meals/lodging and meetings. The costs vary, per person, depending on whether you are staying in a tent/ RV, a cabin or in the Lodge. However, there is a flat rate for families. Call the camp for rates. 208-773-1655. You can also just come for the day and pay a minimal fee for the building use and meals. They are as follows: Meal prices are $6.00 Breakfast, $6.50 Lunch and $8.00 Dinner plus $4.50 facility fee for 1/2 day or $7.50 for a full day. Again, we still need you to call the camp and tell them if you plan to attend the meetings. 208-773-1655.

PLEASE ... please ... call immediately. If the camp does not receive the needed number of pre-registration commitments, they will cancel our use of their facilities. NOTE: WE WILL STILL HOLD THE MEETINGS. The information on new locations and schedules will be announced accordingly to those who have contacted us.

 

2005 COE SCHEDULE

Following is our Schedule for the 2005 Convocation of Eagles. This schedule is based on the use of the Point Ross Bible Camp. NOTE: The evening services will continue to be at the Gateway Church regardless of any changes to the location of the morning and afternoon meetings.

AUGUST 28th

2:00 PM - Orientation. Check In. Settle In. 4:00 PM - Introductions (Jeny Covill COE) and fellowship. 6:00 PM - Talking Circle. (What did you come here expecting?)

AUGUST 29th

7:00 AM - Prayer
Breakfast
9:00 AM - Morning gathering. Bring out the colors. (Round Table for Questions and Answers in Native ministry- panel to be formed later according to availability)). NO WE DO NOT HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS, ONLY FOR OUR AREA! Non Native Questions about ministry? More in the evening.
12:00 Noon - Lunch 1:00 PM - Family Time and Fellowship.
4:00 PM - Individual Sharing. Speaker (Talking Circle) to be announced. ( Behind the mess hall) Bring your lawn chairs.
Dinner
7:00 PM - Church Services at The Gateway. Full regalia. (Love Warriors Ministry - MC Jeny Covill).

AUGUST 30th

7:00 AM - Prayer
Breakfast
9:00 AM - Morning Sharing. Bring out the colors. Coer d'Alene Intro. Then sharing of ministry and goals in connections with native ministry. (We need each others help and prayer. Share contact. )
12:00 Noon - Lunch 1:00 PM - Family Time and Fellowship.
4:00 PM - Talking Circle. Demo individual ministry if available same location.
Dinner
7:00 PM - Church Services at the Gateway. Full regalia. (Love Warriors Ministry - MC Wilma Bob). Retire the colors.

AUGUST 31st

7:00 AM - Prayer
Breakfast
9:00 AM - Morning Sharing. Bring out the colors. Cherokee introduction, song, ...
12:00 Noon - Lunch 1:00 PM - Family Intro and Sharing, Dancing and Open Worship
4:00 PM - Talking Circle - Speaker to be announced. Demo sing and Dancing cont if needed.

7:00 PM - Church Services at the Gateway. Retire the colors.

SEPTEMBER 1st

7:00 AM - Prayer
Breakfast
9:00 AM - Morning Share. Bring out the colors. (To be announced)
12:00 Noon - Lunch 1:00 PM - Ministry Cohesion and continued relations for strength and fellowship.
4:00 PM - Talking Circle - Pre Closing Ceremonies
Dinner
7:00 PM - Church Services. Open Gifting and Sharing. Mid Closing. Retire the colors.

SEPTEMBER 2nd

7:00 AM - Gathering Sharing the Benefits and needs for further ministry in prayer circle
9:00 AM - Pre Closing Ceremony. Retire the colors.

We must be out by 10:00 AM at the latest. Schedule subject to change according to need and the Holy Spirit .

 

Ministry Updates

VICTORIOUS WARRIORS FOR CHRIST. Jeny Running Brook Covill is now a licensed minister and chaplan with the Victorious Warriors For Christ Church and Fellowship of Cross Cultural Ministries of Spokane, Washington. LOCAL MINISTRY. On Sunday August 14th we visitted the Family of Faith Church in Kalispell and shared briefly about our recent trip to Israel and the situation facing the Jewish Settlers in Gush Katif and Samaria. On August 16th and 17th we visitted the Spirit of God Campmeeting on the Flathead Reservation, which was hosted by Pastor Dean and Annie Buffalo.

FIRST NATIONS WOMEN'S CONFERENCE. On August 18 & 19 we went to Billings for the annual First Nations Women's Conference that is hosted by Aglow International and the Intercultural Team. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and ministry.

On August 20 & 21 we joined the Aglow Intercultural Team and Broken Walls at the 2005 Crow Fair at Crow Agency. On Saturday I was honored to officiate the marriage ceremony of three lovely woman who wanted to make a public commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and Husband. Agnes GunHammer, Daisy GunHammer and Dianna Broncheau are all single women ... orphans and widows .. who desired to have a ceremony to signify their commitments to be completely devoted to the Lord. It was a beautiful wedding.

Then on Sunday we were blessed to witness the awesome Sunday morning worship service at the 2005 Crow Fair dance arena where Jonathan Maracle and Broken Walls ministered through music and the Word. This was a historical moment that truely made a positive impact on the Crow community. For the very first time, as far as anyone can remember, people honored the Sunday Morning Worship service guest (Jonathan, Kris, Jeremy) with money. One by one people in the stands began to take money out into the arena and place it on the drum!! A HUGE honor!! Praise the Lord. Also, during the service, there were people that began to step out into the arena and dance with the music and songs. It was a AWESOME. Thank you to all who made that possible. Praise the Lord! Thanks also to Pastor Ken Pretty On Top, the Aglow Team and the Pow-wow committee.
