DAY ONE:
August 13, 2004
Getting ready .... Directing traffic, setting up registration, the prayer tipi and the tent, as well as starting the fire.
Here we go .... Jeny welcomes all to the Covill's land and Convocation of Eagles. She shares about the Friendship Circle of the Cherokee and the purpose of our meeting together. Turtle, our fire keeper from the Nipmuck people of Massachusetts, talks about the fire. Wilma Bob, of the Coeur D Alene and Flathead tribes, shares about the drum and dance. The Bob Family and "Old School" is our Host Drum.
Friday morning Grand Entry ...

Afternoon Session ... Guest Speakers included Sara Cooper, who shared her testimony about living through the Federal Siege of Ruby Ridge, the murder of her mother and brother by the US Government and how the Lord has brought her to a place of peace and forgiveness.
Prayer for the healing of the betrayed, deliverance for the oppressed and victory for the broken-hearted, as well as prayer for mercy, grace, unity, justice and righteousness .. through singing and dancing.
Retiring the colors, preparing for supper and then on to the church for the evening session.
Evening Session: Opening praise and worship lead by David & Marie
Fong, Love Warriors; special drum presentations by The Bob Family;
and music and message by Jonathan Maracle and Broken Walls.
